December 8, 2012 - Two sessions (8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. OR 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon) - The Parks and Recreation Department will be holding the 12th annual “Breakfast with Santa” at The Lodge at Ironwoods Park. Join us on Saturday, December 8 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. (Session I) or 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (Session II) for an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, provided by the Leawood Lion’s Club.
All participants will create a holiday craft. Get your picture taken with Santa and view it online at www.leawood.org. Pictures will be available to print for FREE from the Leawood website shortly after the event. Pictures will not be given on site.
Don’t forget to bring your wish list! The Parks and Recreation Mascot “Leawoody” will also be on hand to greet kids and help Santa.
While you’re at the park be sure to stop by the Oxford School House (FREE Admission) for “Holiday Traditions on the Prairie”. Learn about holiday celebrations on the plains at the turn of the century. Open from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 8.
