FREE Winter Warm-Up Event at Park Place

As part of the first Winter Warm-Up at Park Place, all of the stores and restaurants are offering specials, hosting activities, participating in giveaways and getting ready for the season, November 15 – 17. Park Place created three days of Winter Warm-Up to punt the traditional open house with more for everyone to celebrate and explore at every store and restaurant. Park Place is hosting The Kansas City Figure Skating Club for ice performances, Jason Divad’s One Man Circus: Magic, Comedy, Skill & Fire, and several bands throughout the three days. In addition, the restaurants are supporting Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics with the Winter Warm-Up Cocktail Contest. The festivities will begin on Thursday, November 15, with a night of free ice skating and holiday gatherings from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

The stores and restaurants at Park Place are participating with the following activities, promotions and events:

Daily festivities Thursday, November 15 – Saturday, November 17
• Bar Method: Attend a studio tour at Bar Method on Thursday, Friday or Saturday and receive one free class
• The Rice Gallery: Annual Harvesters Food Network Holiday Food Drive – collecting donations of non-perishable food items and household products
• KC Surroundings: Holiday open house with holiday treats and special promotions including 25% off all wreaths
• EJ’s Boutique: Holiday open house showcasing new holiday designers. Each guest may take 20% off one item. EJ’s will be accepting donations for The Willow Tree, a part of The Justice Project that supports women in need.
• Paciugo Gelato: Free samples of new fall flavors all weekend long
• Winter Warm Up Cocktail Contest: Stop by any of Park Place’s restaurants to try their Winter Warm-Up cocktails and Park Place will donate $1 to Children’s Mercy for every cocktail sold. Be sure to vote for your favorite cocktail on the Park Place Facebook page for your chance to win a prize!
• Park Place Social Media Giveaways: Prizes and giveaways featuring items from several stores and restaurants, passes from AMC Theatres, pairs of Chiefs Football tickets, gifts from Shatto Milk and more

• RA Sushi: Back to the 90’s – 15th Anniversary Guest Appreciation Party
• Cupcake A La Mode: Serving complimentary hot cocoa during the grand opening of The Ice with free skating, offered near the ice rink from 5:00 -8:00 p.m.
• California Pizza Kitchen: Pizza Box decorating party from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
• Tallulahbelle’s: Holiday open house hosting jewelry artist, Carrie Hoffnagie, with complimentary appetizers and cocktails
• Annabelle’s Linens: Trunk show with Pinecone Hill and complimentary appetizers

• Tallulahbelle’s: Pete Dulin, editor of The Last Bite cookbook, will be in the stores signing and selling cookbooks as well as sampling recipes.
